- минимальная ссудная ставка Банка Англии: официальная учетная ставка Банка Англии в 1972-1981 гг. (до 1976 г. привязанная к казначейским векселям), по которой Банк Англии учитывал векселя и давал краткосрочные кредиты дисконтным домам; отменена в августе 1981 г. в ходе пересмотра кредитно-денежной политики (теперь Банк Англии определяет ставки по своим операциям в каждом конкретном случае); в 1985 г. была на короткий период восстановлена для защиты фунта стерлингов
